Cleveland to Miami

The first leg of our trip is finally starting! Wally Ramsier, Dad, and I were dropped off at the Cleveland airport. From here we fly to Miami, FL to meet with the rest of our team and tomorrow we are off to Haiti.

I am so excited to meet everyone and mentally preparing myself for the hazardous journey up the mountain from Port Au Prince to Bonne Finn. I haven't forgotten that in a year!!

A special hello to Mr. Sugarman's first grade class in Rittman. They are doing a flat Stanley project and my nephew Karson gave me a 'Flat Karson' to take to Bonne Finn Haiti. I am publishing a picture of Karson holding the 'Flat Karson' who is preparing for the long trip. ;)

Maybe another post tonight. Hope everyone is doing well.

  1. Mr. Sugerman's class is very proud and excited for all you are doing! Thank you for allowing "Flat Karson" to join you on your visit! We will be following along your journey and hope to see more "Flat Karson" photos!

  2. Hope you are having a wonderful time! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I tried to send you a picture of Chichie eating his Sunday morning cream filled donut, but alas, I am too technologically short-circuited to figure it out and don't want Tony to know! Ha ha. Caleb loved his first day of Sunday School and told his teacher, Brienna Indermuhle that he didn't like that kind of candy (smarties) that some poor unsuspecting kid brought for their birthday treat. I try to teach him manners...When he told me that he didn't like that kind of candy I said " I hope you didn't tell the kid who brought that as his birthday treat that. That's bad manners!" But later in church I asked if Caleb liked candy? So that was why we saw the guilty look?! Anyways!!
